HB Bitumen Emulsion is a rapid setting cationic bitumen emulsion complying with Malaysian Standard (MS 161 : 1994). Its cold applied and when laid is gives an adhesive bond between an existing surface and any bituminous overlay. Quick setting will speed up the operation and give exceptional adherence even in damp conditions.
The use of tack coat is recommended wen tasks such as overlaying with hot rolled asphalt, slurry seal or macadam or when patching operations are required to be conducted.
HB Bitumen Emulsion is supplied in 200kg drums for spraying operations.
